We're fortunate to live in a part of the country that usually receives its fair share of rain, something we might even take for granted at times. But as we enjoy this spell of fair weather and an unusually long dry spell (hosepipe bans included!), we can be sure the rain will return before too long.

In the meantime, let's make the most of the last of the summer sun - soak it up, enjoy time outside with friends, and linger in the long evenings while they last.

September always brings a shift in pace: children head back to school, grandparents resume their supportive roles, and life begins to adjust to the rhythm of a new season.
